During the last two school years, HISD has participated in the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) program that has allowed HISD to provide free breakfast and lunch to all students. The Texas Department of Agriculture has ended the SSO program for next school year. Beginning in August 2022, all school breakfast and lunch will not be free for all Huntington ISD students. To qualify for free or reduced priced meals, students must be directly certified or approved based on an income application. The applications will be sent home with your student in August and will also be available at the front offices, administration building, or school website.
